Research Around the World

The website that I researched is Early Childhood Australia. The international research topics range in topics. Some of the research topics that stood out to me were: Young Children as active learners, Young Gifted Children: Meeting their Needs, Engaging Families: Building Strong Communication, and The Early Years Learning Framework: Building Confident Learners.

From the website, I learned that Australia has some of the same concerns that the United States have about young children. We both want the rights of children to be heard, leadership, respect, collaboration, diversity, justice, and social inclusion of children.

I learned that the Early Childhood Australia’s Quality Assurance has six principles for evaluation. The six principles are relevance, authority, content, general design, navigation, and server performance and technical issues.

  1. Hi! Chasity,
Great information on early childhood in Australia, children around the world is our greatest gift. Very interesting to see that other counties share the same interest in children as we do. Thanks for sharing.

  2. Hi Chasity,
The website on early childhood Australia seems to focus a lot on some of the same issues we face in the U.S. When I read about the research on gifted children, I thought about the gifted program in one of our school district here. The have plenty of federal dollars allocated for our students, i wounder if the Austrailian children have government funds from which they can get additional funds and support. Nice post.
